This policy covers the QuattreTV applications — the LG television app and any others published for other platforms — and complements the general legal notice published at quattre.com.
What the applications are
The QuattreTV applications are the entry point to the television service you have subscribed to. They show the channels, the programme guide and the rest of the content included in your subscription.
The applications are free and nothing can be purchased inside them. The service is contracted and paid for at quattre.com or in any of our shops, never from the television.
What the applications store on your device
- The address of the server that answered last, so the next start is faster.
- A device identifier, generated by us, used to recognise that television within your account and to apply the number of devices your subscription includes.
- Your session, so you are not asked for your password every time.
What the applications do not do
- They do not use the device's advertising identifier or any other manufacturer-provided identification.
- They use no function of the device's operating system. The LG television app, for instance, requests no webOS permission at all.
- They do not access your TV channel list, what you watch in other applications, the microphone or the camera.
- They contain no advertising, no third-party analytics and no social network components.
- They share no data with LG or any other television manufacturer.
What data we process and on what legal basis
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR art. 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Name, address, phone and email | Register you as a customer, invoice you and support you | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Username and password | Sign-in | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Identifier of each television or set-top box | Recognise your devices and apply the device and concurrent-stream limits of your subscription | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| IP address and last access time of each device | Service security, detection of account misuse and technical support | Legitimate interest (6.1.f) |
| Channels you mark as favourites | So you have them at hand | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Recordings you schedule, if included in your subscription | To provide that service | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Parental control PIN | To lock adult channels | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Billing data | Tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation (6.1.c) |
On the legitimate interest in the IP address and the last access time: without it we cannot tell how many devices are using an account, nor detect that someone's credentials have been stolen. It is the minimum information needed for that, it is not used to profile you or for advertising, and you may object by writing to protecciondatos@quattre.com.
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
How long we keep it
- Customer data: while you are a customer and afterwards while liabilities may arise from the contract.
- Invoicing and accounting: six years (art. 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code); data of tax relevance, four years (art. 66 of the General Tax Act).
- Device access logs: twelve months.
- Recordings you schedule: as long as your subscription states; they are then deleted automatically.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or transfer your data.
The television service runs on servers owned by Quattre Internet S.L. located in Spain, on our own network. No third-party platform is involved in delivering the channels.
Data is only disclosed to processors under a data processing agreement (accounting and tax advisors) and to public authorities where the law requires it.There are no international data transfers.
Minors and parental control
The service includes adult channels, locked behind a PIN set by the account holder from the customer area.
How it works is worth stating, because it is not merely an on-screen warning:until the correct PIN is entered, our server does not hand the channel address to the television. The lock does not depend on the application and cannot be bypassed by tampering with it, because there is no address on the television to find.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing toprotecciondatos@quattre.com, or by post to the address above, proving your identity.
If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
If we amend it, the new version will be published at this same address and the date above updated.

This policy covers the Quattre customer app (iOS and Android) and complements the general legal notice and privacy policy published at quattre.com. The QuattreTV applications have their own policy, above.
What the customer app is
It is the self-service app for existing Quattre customers: view and download your invoices, check the current cycle's usage on your mobile lines, review what you have subscribed to and report a fault without calling. It is free and nothing can be bought inside it: services are subscribed at quattre.com, by phone or in our shops.
How you sign in
There is no password. You enter the mobile number on your contract and we send you a one-time code by SMS that expires after 5 minutes. If the number does not belong to a customer, the app answers exactly as if it did: that way nobody can use it to find out who is a Quattre customer.
We keep the date, time and IP address of every code request in order to curb abuse (there are limits on codes per number and per IP). Without that record, anyone could make us send SMS messages to other people's numbers en masse.
What the app stores on your phone
- Your session, in the system's encrypted store (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and available only on that phone, so you are not asked for a code every time.
- Any nicknames you give your services ("Ana's mobile"). They stay on the phone: they are not sent to Quattre and are not synced across devices.
- The language you chose and whether you postponed a new-version notice.
- Whether you enabled fingerprint or face unlock. Your fingerprint and face are handled by the operating system and never leave the phone, nor do we see them: the app only receives a "yes" or a "no".
What the app does NOT do
- It carries no advertising, no third-party measurement or analytics tools, and no social network buttons.
- It does not use the phone's advertising identifier and does not track you across apps or websites. That is why it does not ask you for tracking permission.
- It does not access your location, your contacts, your photos, the camera or the microphone. It does not request those permissions.
- It does not record the screen or the way you use the app.
- It does not sell or share your data with anyone, nor make automated decisions affecting you, nor build profiles.
What data we process and on what legal basis
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (art. 6 GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Contract mobile number and one-time code | Letting you into the app and checking it is you | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Date, time and IP of every code request | Curbing SMS abuse and attempts to access other people's accounts | Legitimate interest (6.1.f) |
| Name, surname, email and mobile number | Showing you your customer details in the app | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Contracts, services, tariffs and installation address | So you can see what you have subscribed to and where | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Invoices: amounts, items and the PDF | Viewing and downloading them from the app | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) and legal obligation (6.1.c) |
| Current cycle usage on your mobile lines (data, minutes and SMS) | So you know how much you have used before the invoice arrives | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Faults you report: what you write and the service affected | Handling and resolving the incident | Performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Your phone's notification identifier, platform and app version | Sending you the app's notices and knowing which versions we support | Consent given through the notification permission (6.1.a) and performance of the contract (6.1.b) |
| Technical data from an app crash (model, system version, error trace) | Detecting and fixing errors | Legitimate interest (6.1.f) |
| Billing data | Meeting tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation (6.1.c) |
On legitimate interest: the record of code requests is the minimum needed to stop our SMS sending being used against third parties; and crash reports are sentwithout personal data — mobile numbers, emails, IBANs, tax numbers and credentials are stripped automatically before they leave the phone — they do not carry your IP address and they include no screenshot or screen recording. You may object to both by writing to protecciondatos@quattre.com.
How long we keep it
- Customer data, contracts and faults: while you are a customer and, after that, while liabilities may arise from the contract.
- Invoices and billing data: the periods required by tax and commercial law.
- Usage detail: as long as needed to issue and substantiate the cycle's invoice, and thereafter the legal periods applicable to billing.
- Record of code requests: as long as needed for abuse control and access security, and in any case while you are a customer.
- Notification identifier: while you have the app installed and the session open. It is deactivated when you sign out, and if the phone stops accepting notices — because you uninstall the app or revoke the permission — it deactivates by itself.
- Crash reports: 90 days.
Who we share it with
We do not share your data with anyone for their own purposes. We work with these providers:
- Gateway360 (Spain): sending the SMS with the access code.
- Expo (United States) and the notification services ofApple and Google: delivering notices to your phone. They receive the notification identifier and the text of the notice, never your invoices or your customer data. That is why our notices are generic: we tell you that you have a new invoice, not how much it is for.
- Sentry (servers in Germany): app crash reports, without personal data.
The Quattre servers where your information lives are in Spain. Sending notifications involves an international transfer to the United States, covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and limited to the device identifier and the text of the notice.
Notifications
They only reach you if you accept the permission your phone asks for the first time, and you can withdraw it whenever you like from the system settings. We notify you about your account — a new invoice, a returned direct debit, progress on a fault — never with advertising. The wording is deliberately generic, because it shows on the lock screen.
Minors
The app is for holders of a contract with Quattre, who are of legal age. It is not directed at minors and we do not process their data through it.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and restriction of or objection to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
To exercise them: QUATTRE INTERNET S.L., C/ Alguixós 5, 46138 Rafelbunyol (València), Spain ·protecciondatos@quattre.com.
From the app itself, at miQuattre → Settings → Legal → Delete my account, you can ask us to erase your access. Note: that deletes the app account (session, registered devices and preferences), it does not cancel your contract for telephony, internet or television, nor any outstanding invoices. To cancel a service, call +34 961 126 346.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything, we will update this page and the date above. If the change is significant, we will let you know through the usual channels.
Terms of use — Quattre customer app
Last updated: 31 August 2026.
1. Who can use it
The app is for holders of a contract in force with QUATTRE INTERNET S.L. Access uses the mobile number on the contract, so whoever signs in sees that customer's information. It is free and there are no purchases inside it.
2. What it is for
To view and download your invoices, check the current cycle's usage, review your contracts and services, and report and follow faults. The app does not take out new services, change tariffs or cancel services: those are handled through the customer service channels.
3. Access and security
The code we send you by SMS is single-use, expires after 5 minutes and is personal: do not give it to anyone. Quattre will never ask you for it by phone, email or messaging. If you lose your phone or it is stolen, tell us on +34 961 126 346 so we can close any open sessions. You can enable fingerprint or face unlock from Settings to add one more barrier.
4. Proper use
By using the app you undertake not to impersonate anyone else, not to attempt to access data that is not yours, not to automate its use or extract information en masse, and not to tamper with or decompile it. We may suspend access for anyone who does any of these things.
5. The information you see
Current cycle usage is indicative: it is calculated from records already processed — updated daily and which may arrive late — and may not include the last few hours. The figure that counts is the one on the cycle's invoice. Issued invoices and their PDF are the definitive document.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the app available at all times, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical incidents or causes beyond our control. The app needs an internet connection, which is at your expense and may use data from your tariff.
7. Updates
We publish new versions with improvements and fixes. Some fixes apply on their own when you open the app; others require updating it from the store. We may ask you to update in order to keep using it when the installed version has a security problem or is no longer compatible.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its design, its name and its brand are the property of QUATTRE INTERNET S.L. You are allowed to use it to manage your services; nothing more. The content you consult — your invoices, your data — is yours.
9. Personal data
How we handle your information is set out in theprivacy policy of the app.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction under the applicable consumer protection legislation.
